About Me

I currently work for a major news network based in New York City, and also contribute weekly Feature & Arts stories to The Times Ledger in Queens. In April 2011 the publication received the New York Press Association's First Place award for Coverage of the Arts in 2010. I'm proud to be a part of their reporting team.
About my education - I am a graduate of The University of Massachusetts Amherst, where I earned bachelor degrees in Communication and Journalism, as well as a certification in Film Studies.  I graduated Cum Laude in 2007, and have been working in New York since then.

My writing experience includes television, radio and print in the areas of; local and national news, film reviews, music reviews, theater reviews, food and night life, profiles, sex and relationships advice and celebrity pop-culture. I am an avid blogger.

I draw my inspiration from those who illuminate life.
