In April 2011 the publication received the New York Press Association's First Place award for Coverage of the Arts in 2010. I'm proud to be a part of their reporting team.
About my education - I am a graduate of The University of Massachusetts Amherst, where I earned bachelor degrees in Communication and Journalism, as well as a certification in Film Studies.  I graduated Cum Laude in 2007, and have been working in New York since then.

My writing experience includes television, radio and print in the areas of; local and national news, film reviews, music reviews, theater reviews, food and night life, profiles, sex and relationships advice and celebrity pop-culture. I am an avid blogger.

I draw my inspiration from those who illuminate life.
